From 1993 to 1995, he worked at the Federal Institute of Fisheries Workers, concurrently at the Kaliningrad State Technical University.

From 2010 to April 2012, he worked at the Kaliningrad State Technical University as a vice-rector for Economics and Finance.

From April 2012 to the present, he has been working at the same university as the director of the Institute of Industrial Economics and Management.

Throughout his professional activity, he has been a scientific supervisor and performer of contractual and household-budget research works. He has published as an author and co-author of 6 monographs and more than 40 articles in various journals.

Prepared and defended 1 candidate's thesis. There are 3 candidate's and 2 doctoral dissertations under the supervision at the completion stage.

Under the leadership, a program documentation was developed for the creation of a shipbuilding cluster in the Kaliningrad region
