He carried out researches in the field of mechanisms of natural waters self-purification, the practical use of phyto-systems for cleaning household wastewater. He is the author and teacher of a number of lecture courses given at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, including: courses on animal ecology, the basics of population analysis, experimental methods in ichthyology";  The participant of the Commission on Environmental Education of the Faculty of Biology of Moscow State University.
