Принимала участие в  научных рейсах на промысловых судах,  где проводила исследования по изучению и переработке мезопелагических рыб, ставриды, комплексной переработки минтая. При непосредственном участии разработан  ряд технологий рационального использования водных биологических ресурсов, которые оформлены соответствующими техническими документами и внедрены в производство более чем на 200 предприятиях рыбной отрасли. Под руководством была проведена работа по разработке детского питания на рыбной основе. Абрамова Л.С. автор нормативных документов на консервированное детское питание с овощами и крупами для прикорма детей раннего возраста, которые изготавливаются на заводе детского питания «Фаустово».

She took part in scientific voyages on fishing vessels, where she conducted research on the study and processing of mesopelagic fish, horse mackerel, and complex processing of pollock. With her direct participation, a number of technologies for the rational use of aquatic biological resources have been developed, they are issued with appropriate technical documents and introduced into production at more than 200 enterprises of the fishing industry. Under the leadership of L. S. Abramova, work was carried out on the development of fish-based baby food. Abramova L. S. - the author of regulatory documents on canned baby food with vegetables and cereals for feeding young infants, which are manufactured at the Faustovo baby food factory.
